Michael Hawash represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of business disputes such as those arising out of professional malpractice, insurance bad faith, breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, construction and design defects, Uniform Commercial Code violations, breach of fiduciary duty, intellectual property misappropriation, maritime disputes, energy litigation and other general business matters.
Michael was born and raised in England, and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1981. Over the course of his legal career, Michael has worked for a number of the nation’s largest law firms, including: the Washington D.C. based lobbying firm of Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson, Hand, Chartered, the New Orleans-based firm of Adams and Reese, LLP, and the Chicago-based Seyfarth Shaw, LLP. While at these firms, Michael successfully represented many of the world’s largest corporations and insurance companies in hundreds of lawsuits. Today, Michael represents individuals and companies across a broad spectrum of commercial litigation. Michael accepts cases on an hourly, contingency and mixed-fee basis. Michael is a co-founder of Hawash Meade Gaston Neese & Cicack LLP.
He resides in Houston, Texas with his wife, Tori, and sons, Luke and Gray.
